About CNC

A Flooring Partner You Can Count On.

CNC helps general contractors keep projects on schedule and facility managers keep operations running—with one team responsible from surface preparation through installation.

Why Clients Call CNC

Flooring work usually happens under pressure. Shutdown windows are tight, production can't be impacted, and project schedules are already full.

You need a flooring contractor who understands those constraints, communicates clearly, and follows through without creating more work for you.

Our History

It Started With Prep

Charles Covollo founded CNC in 1992 after more than two decades in framing and drywall. He knew what demanding construction work asks of the people doing it, and he wanted to build a company that did the job right from the ground up. CNC began with shot-blasting and concrete preparation, solving a common cause of coating failure—a slab that had not been prepared correctly.

As clients saw the difference proper preparation made, CNC expanded into complete resinous flooring systems. Bringing preparation, repairs, and installation under one roof gave general contractors and facility managers one team responsible for the outcome from start to finish.

Today Jovan and Vince Covollo lead the same family-owned company with the same hands-on, owner-led approach. The principle that started CNC still guides the work: do the prep right, install the right system, and stand behind the result.

Field-Proven Problem Solving

CNC Developed a Detail the Industry Adopted

Food-processing facilities had a persistent sanitation problem: the gap between insulated metal panels and concrete curbs could harbor bacteria. CNC developed a durable transition detail that sealed the gap and tied the wall and flooring system together.

The detail held up in the field and was later written into project specifications throughout the industry. For facility teams, that meant a cleaner, more reliable transition. For general contractors, it provided a proven detail that could be coordinated and built consistently.

How We Work

What to expect when you work with CNC.

Prep Done Right

Performance starts with the slab. We evaluate, test, and prepare properly—even when it adds time. Especially then.

Systems Matched to the Environment

We match chemistry to your environment, schedule, and operational demands—not to what’s easiest to install.

Clear Communication

Scope, schedule, conditions, and anything that affects the outcome. No surprises you have to manage.

Work Planned Around the Operation

Whether it’s an active facility’s shutdown window or a GC’s project timeline, we plan our work around yours—not the other way around.

One Team Responsible

If CNC installs it, CNC stands behind it. Responsibility stays clear.
